Jack O’Lantern Mission in Dizzywood

Hey everyone. There are some new Halloween missions in Dizzywood and you need to do them in order. The first one is called the Jack O’Lantern mission and to do it you have to find four pieces of a picture of a Jack O’Lantern that are hidden in Dizzywood. I found them very easily with help from the clues that you get when you read about the mission. This is where all four pieces are hidden:

Breakwater Beach

It’s hidden over by the towel next to the Beach Hut.

Crystal Catacombs

Look over on the right side, kind of near where you land when you drop down from the Jaguar Temple.

Tanglevine Jungle

It’s over on the left side near the entrance where the salamander sprites are.

Garden Gazebo

It’s at the bottom on the left side near where the tea table sits.

After I found all four of the pieces, the reward was 300 coins and a new mission called Trick or Treat.

Decode the Secret Message

In this message for Spy Bear, you need to find a secret message and decode it. This is a very fun mission in Dizzywood that has a few more steps in it than most of the missions and takes a little longer to complete.

When you accept the mission you get a special decoder device that goes into the Loot section of your backpack.

First you have to follow the clue to find the Pathfinder Official. He is way over in Gilbert Square East in the bottom right corner of the area. Use your map to go to Canal City, which puts you in Gilbert Square West. Then get on your skateboard and go through the gates on the right to get to Canal City East. Then go to the bottom right and you will see the Pathfinder official. There will be a scroll on the ground near him. Click on it to pick it up and it will also go into the loot section of your backpack.

When you have the scroll, click on it to see the secret coded message. You can also click on the decoder device in your backpack to learn which pictures represent which letters.

When you decode the full message it says:

FIND THE SPY BRIEFCASE IN TANGLEVINE. HINT: USE GHOST RAY

Next go to Tanglevine Jungle and use your Ghost Ray power on the big tree to the right of the sign that is the entrance to the Noxious Swamp (Grool Grubnibbler’s lair). The Spy briefcase is hidden behind it. Click on the briefcase to finish the mission. You will get 300 coins and I think you get points towards your Spying badges too.

Sophie’s Slogan

The new mission in Dizzywood for Gold Explorers is called Sophie’s Slogan. In this mission you learn that Sophie is running for Student Body President at Canal City University. She needs help from you to come up with a good campaign slogan.

The mission tells you to look for her in Canal City in the Gilbert Square West section. She’s up in the back to the left. She looks really big now. I think it’s a glitch.

When you talk to Sophie she says that she left a stack of papers near Katherine de Claw, who is the Chief Poobah. Kat de Claw is in the Garden Gazebo so use your map to go there. The stack of papers is behind the tea table on the left side of the Gazebo room.

Click on the papers and you then choose a slogan. Pick Sophie is for the Students! as the answer. You get a polka dot backpack as a prize.

Arcticus’ Books

Here is a new mission on Dizzywood. Archimedes the word wizard borrowed a science book from Arcticus Frost, the winter wizard and he needs some help to find and return it. The book was left in Tanglevine Jungle.

Go to Tanglevine Jungle and use your levitation power to go across the river and you will find the book on the little island with the broken pillars on it. When you click on the book you will need to answer three questions correctly. The answers are below.

Answers to Questions

1. Native Vegitation
2. Marine Life
3. The Layers of the Earth’s Crust

When you find the book take it back to Arcticus Frost in the Icy Aerie. You need to use the key to the Icy Aerie on the crystal keyhole in Presto’s Edge to get there. If you don’t have the key yet, you need to do the mission to get it. When you arrive in the Icy Aerie click on Arcticus Frost to complete the mission and get the reward of 300 coins.

Mythical Crystals, Part 7

It’s the final Mythical Crystals mission! This is a Gold Explorer only mission and it’s a little harder than most.

In this mission, you’re looking for the Moon Crystal. Emperor Withering and Moonpebble were fighting over it and the crystal disappeared. Moonpebble thinks it broke into different balls of elixir in the Crystal Catacombs and you need to go find them to recreate it.

The pieces are in a piece of machinery in the Crystal Catacombs. It’s the one right in front of CP Burrows. When you click on it, you play a game of Bounce and need to get 35 pieces across to win.

When you win you get the Moon Crystal but the mission isn’t over. You need to bring it to Professor Nocturne who is in his observatory in Skytown.

When you get inside, click on Professor Nocturne and he tells you he will take the Moon Crystal to Moonpebble but he wants to play a game of Force Field first. This game is really hard because it moves kind of fast and there are multiple balls. But he is kind of easy to beat and when you get five points you win.

When you beat him, the mission is complete. You get 1,000 coins! And you also get a piece of furniture for your house called a Mythical Crystals stand.

I also became a yellow level crystal courier for completing the mission!

Sea Sprite’s Secret

There is a new mission for all Dizzywood players called The Sea Sprite’s Secret. You have to go find the Sea Sprite who is in his usual spot on Breakwater Beach. When you click on him, you will play a game of Force Field and you have to get the ball past him five times. Then he tells you his secret, which is:

I saw Cecil Sideshuffle ordering tiki torches, beach hammocks, and more Hawaiian shirts. I wonder what he’s planning…

It sounds like either a luau party or Dizzywood is going to have more beach clothing and furniture!

Recapture the Colors

This is a new Gold Explorers only mission on Dizzywood. Color War is about to start and a rock bogie stole one of the crates. Your job is to get it back. The missing crate is in Breakwater Beach. It’s over to the right near where the Sea Sprite is. Click on the crate and you will need to win a game of Combo Drop. This is an easy version of the game where all you need to do is make 30 moves. It doesn’t matter how many points you get or how long it takes you. When you finish, the mission is complete and you get 300 coins.

Attack of the Monsterachnids

This new mission is for all players on Dizzywood but you will need to have the Zap power before you can do it. Accept the mission and then go to the Explorer’s Camp. There will be lots of spider monsters there. Zap them and they will drop crystals that you can pick up for coins. After you zap 10 monsters the mission is over. You will be sent back to Presto’s Edge and get 300 coins as a reward.

Missing Ingredients

This mission is for everyone in Dizzywood. You need to help Mrs. Whiskercheeks to get all the ingredients she needs for her apple strudel.

The Mirthwood apple is in Presto’s Grove kind of near Presto but to the right and down. The bag of flour is in the Garden Gazebo near the table and chairs. The pot of honey is in the Explorers Camp below the entrance to the Jaguar Temple.

When you get all three ingredients you get a cupcake hat!

Save Longullet

This mission is for Gold Explorers only and you need to have completed the Detect the Doppleganger mission where you find out that Mayor Longullet has been replaced by a robot clone. It’s part of one of Emperor Withering’s plots.

It turns out that Mayor Longullet has been kidnapped by Professor Plumpox and you need to go rescue him. The entrance to Plumpox’s lair is in Skytown so charge up the cannon in Presto’s Edge and go there. It’s all the way to the left. Click on the sign to go inside and Longullet will be there. Click on Longullet to rescue him and complete the mission. You get 300 coins as a reward and the mayor has been saved!
